Flooring Installation in Verona, WI
Verona, southwest of Madison, is home to the Epic campus, and the growth around it has brought a wave of newer construction and new arrivals. People move here for work and quickly start making the house their own, which often starts with the floors the builder left behind.
Because so much of Verona is newer, the work here tends to be about upgrading builder grade floors, not correcting the settling that comes with age. The subfloors are usually predictable, and the decisions are about material and layout.
New arrivals, builder grade upgrades
Verona's growth around the Epic campus means a steady stream of new arrivals, and one of the first projects many of them take on is the floor. Builder grade material is rarely what a homeowner would have chosen, and replacing it is a fast way to make a new house feel like yours. Hardwood where warmth and resale matter, LVP where durability and water resistance matter, tile in the wet rooms.
Because the construction is newer, the subfloors are usually close to flat, which keeps prep simple. The decisions stay focused on material and layout rather than on leveling a settled floor.
The material details
The details that apply to every material we install, acclimation timing for hardwood, subfloor flatness for LVP, joist deflection limits for tile, are on the services overview. On a Verona project, those steps usually go quickly, and the conversation is about which material fits each room and how the home will live.
New floors only
We install new floors only and do not refinish existing ones. Most Verona homes we work in are new enough that refinishing is not on the table anyway, but if an older floor just needs a refinish, we will tell you that before we talk about replacing it.
